Staff Assisted Rockwall Hours

Challenge yourself on the rock wall or bouldering area! We offer a variety of harness sizes to fit most climbers. Children as young as five can typically climb, but an adult must accompany any child under eight.  

Socks and dry clothing are required for climbing.

Rock Wall Schedule:

• Monday - Thursday: 5 - 7:30 PM
• Saturdays: 9:30 AM - 12 PM (Our Kinder Klimb program runs Saturdays from 11 AM - 12 PM and will take precedence during this time)

Belay Test

Want more climbing time? Talk to our staff about becoming belay certified! Certification allows you to climb outside of staffed hours and is valid only at the West Sacramento Recreation Center. Please note that personal equipment is required.

Rec Room

Hang out in our safe and supervised Rec Room - a dynamic environment for youth. Here, young minds can strike the perfect balance between productivity and recreation. From dedicated homework zones to board games, arts and crafts, Nintendo Switch tournaments, and more. The Rec Room is the ideal destination for youth and teens to explore, create, and unwind.

• Ages: 8 - 17
• Days: Monday - Thursday: 5 - 8pm | Saturdays: 9:30am - 12pm
• Fee: Free for Passholders, day pass required for non-passholders
